Alex

Today I managed to get Alex to take her nap in her crib. It was amazing. Her nap lasted 2 hours:) My mom and I got some cleaning done. Not as much as I would of liked. We spent a lot of time trying to clean the treadmill. It got really dirty during the reno's. The contractor didn't cover it very well. Alex is playing and having fun. I should get back to the baby and cleaning.

Dr.'s appointment

Today Dave and Alex had Dr's appointments. Dave has a throat infection or something like that an I wanted the doc to check Alex out. Poor Alex ended up getting a needle. i felt bad. I guess we were behind in her needles. Dr. says her lungs are clear so I guess we just wait till her cold works it's self out. In the mean time we deal with a cranky and tired daughter. She still smiles lots so that's a good thing. She is looking forward to her Auntie Kim, Uncle Steve, Cousin Gordie, Grandpa and Granny come this weekend. It will be a busy one but loads of fun.

Alex has changed a lot, so for all of you to see her for the first time since xmas is great.( I think that was the last time). To Gran, get on a bus and come visit. We are trying to plan a trip to Sudbury at the end of March but PLEASE don't be upset if we are not in town long. It's my b-day and want to go out with my friends for dinner. I will do my very best to please all of you but it's my weekend so do not be disappointed. I'm not ready to leave Alex with anyone yet. Not even her daddy. She only wants her mommy. I will do my very best to please all the grandparents. Well off to finish cooking supper.

Alex On The Move

The last week or so Alex has been on the move. What I mean is that if we lay her down on the floor on her play mat, she will not be laying in the same position. Sometimes she's not even near her mat. The other day she moved about 4 inches away and was facing a totally different direction. She's even doing this in her crib. Just wanted to share this moment. Oh ya, she's on the verge of giggling.

Left Alone

Another night by myself. I used to like being by myself, but now I crave adult conversation or just to hang out with my friends. Most of them are back home in Sudbury. I don't get to see them much even when we go home. The reason for that is we are home to visit family. Don't get me wrong but I love all my Family but a girl needs her friends. We only come home for a few days, so trying to visit everybody all at once is very hard and time consuming. It's hard to make new friends here. Especially when I can't really take the little one out for a walk. I hang out once in awhile with Claudia next door but she's very busy. They have there house up for sale:)

This week Kelvin Bear who we went to Scotland with will be in TO for a course. I hope we can all get together. The sad part is that Marie-Eve and there son William are still in Regina:) Well Alex has been playing in her chair for a long time and I think she needs a bum bum change.

Sick

The other day I got a cold and now I feel like I got run over. The worst part is that I still have to take care of Alex. Dave took the day off yesterday to help out. What a sweetie. If I knew I was going to be sick this week I would of gotten my mom to come up this week instead of last week. oh well life sometimes just sucks. I was taking a nap but my sister phoned. It never fails, when you are just about to fall asleep the phone rings. Well I think Alex is waking up from her nap.

4 months old

The other day Alex turned 4 months old. I can't get over the things she can do. She has been trying to sit up. My mom and I have been encouraging her for the last week. She's getting good but hasn't succeeded all the way. Just wanted to share a few pictures.

Shopping

My mom is here for a little visit. Yesterday we went to the Cookstown mall. It was very dead in there. She's never been there. Dave also wanted to go to look for a new a pair of jeans. A few months back he found some at this designer depot store. They were Tommy Hilfiger and he got at a cheap price. He loved them so much he wanted another pair so we stop at the Tommy store at the Cooks Town Mall. Most of you know I refuse to pay a lot for cloths. Especially for a baby. BUT if I find them on sale a great sale I will buy. I found some stuff for Alex at Tommy really really good deal. I bought her 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts and it all cost about 50$. Everything was 50% off plus an additional 60% off. Cool or what. I could of spent more but Dave was with me:)

Can't wait

I was just reading my father in law's blog and I am so excited for the wedding. Lynds your so lucky to have great parents that are helping. I'm certain you are all having fun. I was thinking about October since it's someone's 1st b-day the day before. How cool that Ann will be there. I don't think everyone has been together for a very long time. I miss the girls. It's going to be a fun day. Well someone is screaming so that's it for now
